Description:
The Statewide Travel Agent Service Contracts provide business travel services for using entities. This group of contracts will provide two regional travel agent contractors who will arrange all phases of travel for the State business travelers and facilitate the use of existing centralized travel contracts for airline travel and vehicle rentals. Additionally, two Statewide travel agencies will provide services to agency customers who wish to have one stop shopping of travel bookings for all their locations throughout the State. The contracts also offer electronic airline ticketing, and extensive reporting capabilities to enable using entities to effectively administer their travel programs. Users of the statewide travel agencies have the option of utilizing an on-line booking tool which recognizes NYS air travel contracts and provides for an audit of all reservations for compliance to NYS travel guidelines prior to issuance of tickets.
This contract is for use by all New York State employees of The Executive, Legislative and Judicial Branches of government including New York State Public Authorities, Boards and Political subdivisions. Additionally, service may be utilized by local governments, school districts and others authorized by law.
