The New York State Office of General Services (OGS) is host to a year-round Farmers’ Market program. Farmers’ Markets are a great way to support local business, promote healthy foods and contribute to the vibrant public space that is the Empire State Plaza.
The OGS Convention and Cultural Events Office (CCE) manages three weekly markets. From May through October, outdoor markets are held at the Empire State Plaza each Wednesday and Friday and at the Harriman State Office Campus each Thursday. From November through April, an indoor market is held each Wednesday on the Empire State Plaza Concourse. All markets run from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
The Farmers’ Market is a grower/producer only market - participants may only sell items they have grown or produced themselves. Reselling is not permitted. Crafts and merchandise are also not permitted.
Fees are based on the number of weeks one chooses to participate and the amount of space that is required. One may sign up for a single week or for a full six-month season.
